VN Projects have successfully transported main machine for steel plants from Ho Chi Minh City Port to Hoa Phat Steel in Dung Quat IZ, Quang Ngai Province. The dimension of the cargo was 5.40m (L) x 5.03m (W) x 2.75m (H) and the total weight was 44 tons. The entire journey was around 900kms from Ho Chin Minh City to the job site.
The services covered by VN Projects included supporting customs clearance, paying port charges, arranging mobile crane for loading at RORO terminal and trucking to jobsite. In order to pass the toll gate enroute, VN Projects had to arrange hard wood to lift the cargo on trailer over 1.2m in height, fix to pass the opposite direction at toll gates as well as bypass.
It took a total of four days and three nights to deliver the cargo to the site safely.
