Vietnam Global Transport Complete the Delivery of Gas Tanks from Ho Chi Minh City Port to Hightech Park

Vietnam Global Transport Corporation (VGT) has just completed the delivery of 2 gas tanks from Ho Chi Minh city port to the job site in Hightech Park, each measuring L32m x W4.9m x H5.2m with a gross weight of 150 tons. The job scope included: import customs clearance, port handling arrangements, mobilizing specialized equipment to the port to receive both tanks directly from the heavy lift vessel onto the barges, transporting to the job site by combination of water and road via rolling off at the temporary jetty reinforced and arranged by VGT.

Due to the super-heavy weight and length of the cargo, it made it mandatory to lift the cargo up the communication and power cables, as well as the signboards with various obstacles during the route. The convoy could only be executed during the night, whilst being completed by VGT in a timely and safe manner.
