Globe Transport, an Italian based company now part of Soleil International, has been in existence for more than 30 years. It was established in 1984 by Mr. Paolo Bigini and then continued by his legacy. Mr. Bigini worked for many years with General Electric, where he learnt and developed his skills for moving large projects around the World until he decided to start his own enterprise.
Soleil International instead, is a much younger outfit, yet encompassing a very deep knowledge and experience. In fact, the former managers of an old and prominent International Freight Forwarder, who decided to go on their own, founded it in 2010.
The two companies that belong to the same group now for three years have finally been merged into one single company in 2016 and have been operating under the same umbrella since.
While Globe Transport is mostly known and specialized in the Project Cargo arena, Soleil International niche markets are in fashion, general cargo and, particularly strong in air and ocean consolidations.
Our expertise in moving Project Cargo has set us up as leaders in serving the Oil & Gas Industry and that is why the top Italian manufacturers of these products have become our regular clients for their shipments around the World.
Last, but not least, the handling of “food and beverages” has become one of the major trade-lane in our company and we can now provide our customers assistance in a wide range of services.
They offer “custom-tailored” services, special assistance, flexibility and efficiency.
They pride themselves to be an important “go-to entity” in the whole process: from the initial receipt of the blue-prints and the technical analysis of the same, all the way to the inspections on-site, which allow them to study every aspect of the project, from loading to destination
