RR Shipping Private Limited airfreights seamless tubes from Ahmedabad, India

XLP Member, RR Shipping Private Limited, which has its head office in Mumbai, India handles oversize machinery, transformers and long length pipes for Oil & Gas Industry on regular basis. Recently, they have air freighted 17 feet long length Seamless Tubes from Ahmedabad, India.  Seamless Tubes weighing 21.650 MT were transported from Ahmedabad factory upto Mumbai airport. In spite of heavy congestion at Mumbai (BOM) airport, RR Shipping’s in house customs clearance team swiftly managed to complete customs procedure within a few hours. Due to security restrictions for such long seamless tubes, it was mandatory to open and inspect all the wooden boxes for scanning purposes. The entire RR Shipping team worked over night to open, inspect and repack the boxes after security check. Finally ensuring that the cargo was Air Lifted at 3.00 AM maintaining the commitment to their customer.
