Orchid Shipping Pvt Ltd recently successfully handled another containerized BB parcel consisting of a Diesel Generator weighing 49 tons ex Ennore port, in the South of India. The parcel is destined for Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia.  Constraints were very complicated, potentially impacting the in course of handling this consignment. Issues like system downtime for maintenance at the Customs, securement of a special permission from the Railways authorities allowing passage of the cargo, are some of the key highlights of this shipment. The scope of the project included transportation, handling including arranging for customized dunnage, custom clearance, and sharp carrier procurement for 7×40’FR to accommodate this BB parcel.
