Megalift handles 55-metre long cargoes for Petronas Rapid Project

Petronas’s long-planned massive project to build a refinery and petro-chemical integrated development (RAPID) complex in Pengerang, south-eastern of Johor in Malaysia has been long under way. Megalift, fortunately, has been largely involved in the transportations of numerous cargoes, delivered at different phases.

RAPID Package 7 was scheduled to have eight units of loop reactors, all of which are 51.7 ton in weight and 55 meters in length. The challenge always arises during the turning of our trailers due to the cargo length. Thankfully, Megalift’s capabilities of having managed a 100-meter long cargo before provided they had sufficient experience to manoeuvre in a slow, steady and safe manner.
