L.C. Van Tiel Logistics completed a challenging project from Genemuiden, The Netherlands to Gradilište Al Dahra Lucerka, Serbia. The cargo consisted of a drum on saddles at 1865 x 446 x 466cm / 43,000kg and a furnace at 1004 x 337 x 327cm / 30,000kg.
They arranged the supply of saddles for the drum and shrink-wrapped the cargo on location in Genemuiden for both ends of the drum. Then, they shifted the cargo to the quay in Genemuiden and arranged suitable mobile cranes for transshipment ex truck into a barge. The barge departed from Genemuiden to Pančevo, Serbia where L.C. van Tiel’s team then further organized the direct transshipment with mobile cranes ex barge onto trucks with on carriage from Pančevo, Serbia until Gradilište Al Dahra Lucerka in Serbia.
