Project Description –
Khimji Ramdas Shipping has been instrumental in the facilitation of Cross Border On Shore Freight Management Services for its clients in Oman. All the over-sized / odd shaped vessels transported are part of Oman’s two ongoing prestigious projects. They were involved in the complete logistics. Almost all the loads were oversized (above 4m wide), to the point that it had to be moved with Police & private escorts right from the Point of loading (Sharjah & Jebel Ali Port). It required coordination with multiple parties, namely, Fabricator / Shipper Dubai transport agency (for RTA permits), Customs brokers at the Border, the transport provider and finally the client and their representative at site for offloading.
