Freight Traders Ltd NZ (FTL) was recently tasked to ship transformers from Turkey to New Zealand and enlisted fellow XLP members Nora Logistics in Turkey and Tiel Logistics in The Netherlands to assist.
The shipment is comprised of 1 x transformer with dimensions of L: 735 x W: 236 x H 415 cm. weighing 80,000 kgs and three smaller transformers with dimensions L: 263 x W: 125 x H: 284 cm. weighing 6630 kgs.
In a close collaboration between the three parties, a plan was devised to move the transformers from Turkey to Antwerp for urgent transship connection on an NZ bound vessel, for delivery to site on arrival.
The cargo was delivered on time and on budget, and another great example of XLP collaboration.
