Freight Traders Ltd New Zealand Combined With Fellow XLP Member Globe Cargo Logistics (China) For More Power Station Cargo To USA

Freight Traders Ltd (FTL) New Zealand secured another USA refurb project ex China. This is the second project shipment between Freight Traders Ltd in collaboration with fellow XLP member GCL – Globe Cargo Logistics (China). It included preheaters / separators / vaporizers and other miscellaneous parts.

The Vaporizer had measurements of 21.10L x 2.90W x 3.10H / 100 tonnes. The Preheaters had measurements of 21.10L x 2.87W x 3.05H / 73.7 tonnes each (x3).

The project was awarded late once again requiring swift action to meet the tight deadlines needed to make the nominated ship. GCL arranged suitable equipment and trucks for receiving the cargo under hook in Luojing terminal Shanghai, with very little notice, & FTL arranged late receiving and ocean freight. Thanks to the experience of both XLP partners the shipment was loaded and secured in time and on budget. It required full use of resources, to co-ordinate with all parties including the factory, trucks, customs, vessel owners and ground agents.
