Freight Traders Ltd completes logistic operations for the newly commissioned, Ngāwhā geothermal power station. After an intensive three-year well drilling, logistic and plant assembly programme the plant is finally complete.
The cargo consisted of 107 x FEU/ 21 x TEU & breakbulk of 2100 tonne / 7164 m3. Freight Traders shipped all cargo for the project from steel structure beams to 130 tonne vaporizer.
The project comprised of airfreight / sea freight / LCL / breakbulk and two ship charters. The project delivered over an 18-month period and included support from many suppliers who contributed with all kinds of shipments from small LCL shipments of motors to large breakbulk shipments of generators and pressure tanks.
