FLS Projects start 2017 off strong with a collection of interesting shipments
Firstly, FLS Projects had delivered crucial items for the 1,244 MW Duyen Hai 3 power plant in Vietnam. At the end of January 5,400 cbm of fans components were loaded in Shanghai, China and then made their way to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. FLS Projects’ scope included the port handling in Shanghai, the chartering of a suitable MPP heavy lift vessel as well as the discharging operations in Vietnam.
Furthermore, FLS Projects Thailand also completed loading of approximatley 137 Vacuum Insulated Pipe Spools with different diameters ranging from 8 to 26 inches and length of up to 36m. The shipment had a total volume of approximately 7,500 CBM and a total GW of 750 MT. FLS’ scope included: – The fabrication and installation of wooden saddles, Shrink wrapping, Road transport from the factory to the port, Port handling and FAS delivery and Chartering of a vessel from Laem Chabang to Freeport. The vessel departed from Laem Chabang Port, Thailand to Freeport, USA on January 26th
