City Union Logistics completed carriage service of vapor generator for British Petroleum

XLP member, City Union Logistics, provided the through carriage services of a vapor generator for British Petroleum with a total volume of approximately 1500 CBM. The whole service scope included voyage chartering, on carriage transportation, booking and customs clearance service.

First, City Union chartered subject vessel, Rickmers Shanghai, to carry out the whole ocean transportation from Shanghai China to Savannah U.S.A. After that, as the vessel arrived at Savannah unloading port, they arranged the deck barge to receive the cargo from the mother vessel. The deck barge carried out the inland water transportation from Savannah to BP barge slip site. Finally, City Union arranged hydraulic axis modular trailer to receive the cargo from the deck barge, and transported these cargo to BP job site.
