The project involved the international transportation of an industrial plant, meticulously packed into oversized wooden crates. Due to their exceptional dimensions, the cargo required tailored planning and a part charter vessel to ensure safe and timely loading and delivery.

Among the various challenges encountered, the pre-carriage to port stood out as the most critical. Some crates reached a height of 480 cm, making standard road transportation unfeasible. Punto System’s team engineered a customized routing and handling solution that ensured full compliance with road transport regulations, despite challenges like the closure of a bridge, and minimized risk and delay.

By coordinating closely with local authorities, escort services, and port operators, the cargo successfully moved to port and completed the shipment without compromise on safety or efficiency.

This project reflects strength in handling out-of-gauge cargo, ability to solve route planning constraints, and deep-rooted expertise in managing door-to-port logistics for heavy and oversized equipment.
