FTL New Zealand recently won a tender to ship a barge (broken down into modules) from Texas USA to New Zealand’s second deepest lake “Lake Manapouri” located in the southern region of NZ’s South Island.
The shipment comprised of 625 m3 of modules shipping on 3 x 40’ flat racks & 4 x 40 open tops – all OOG.
FTL enlisted the assistance of IFT to collect/pack / secure & survey the cargo & together we shipped all cargo to New Zealand’s South Island port. FTL has worked with NZ quarantine to ensure the shipment arrives in compliance with NZ’s BMSB and border requirements and will finally make the last 700 km road journey to the site.
