Freight Traders Ltd in New Zealand recently handled two-part ship charters of rail turnout (774 tonne / 1000 m3 and 518 tonne / 700 m3 respectively) for various rail project teams in New Zealand. Scope included onboard hot works, stevedoring, hooking off, marshalling, port formalities, customs processing, quarantine handling, port supervision, and delivery. The shipment required great attention to detail as the shipment needed to be split into several delivery location according to serial number and color code.
